Eight N.C. Ski Area Association Gold Cards Still Available
Need that last-minute gift for a winter sport enthusiast? Only eight North Carolina Ski Areas Association (NCSAA) Gold Cards remain for sale for this winter season. This pass allows skiers and snowboarders to ski/snowboard at any resort in North Carolina during any session regardless of holiday or weekend rates; there are no blackout days.
Beech Mountain Resort, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort, Sugar Mountain Resort, Sapphire Valley Ski Area, Cataloochee Ski Area and Appalachian Ski Mountain are participating resorts.

Avery Chamber Expands Marketing and Seeks New Members
The Avery County Chamber of Commerce has recently expanded its marketing to include in-state and neighboring-state airport terminals. The Avery Chamber is also offering a “Welcome Back Discount.” As an active member of Avery Chamber, members receive free advertisement in a printed annual directory, display of business cards in the office/visitor center, a listing of the business with a description on the chamber website and much more. Watauga Willing Workers Group Now Online
The Watauga Willing Workers Yahoo Group! is now online. The group is open to those who want to post a need for service or work that might include jobs that are too small for contractors. ASU Offers Project Management Certification
On-campus testing facilities for administration of the Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) certification examination are now available at ASU. ‘Business After Hours’ Host Agreement Deadline December 31
Deadline to fill out Boone Chamber’s “Business After Hours” Host Agreement form for 2012 is Saturday, December 31. “Business After Hours” are held on the third Thursday monthly from February through November and promotes business in a fun and social manner to fellow Boone Chamber members.
