Angel Food Available at Three Watauga Churches—Orders Due July 14
Three Watauga County churches are now host sites for Angel Food Ministries, “a food ministry with a servant’s heart.” Participants may purchase a box of food valued at $60 to $70 for the low price of $30. Additional specials are available each month for the low price of $15 to $20 dollars. The boxes feature frozen meats, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, and staple items.

Angel Food has
• No membership
• No qualifying income limits
• No applications
• No limit to the number of boxes you may order

You can pay for Angel Food orders with cash, check, money order, or EBT food stamps.

Orders for July are due by Monday, July 14. Pickup is Saturday, July 26, at each church.

For just $30, you can purchase a box of food valued at $60 to $70. Here’s what’s in the July box:

40-ounce Marie Callender’s Family Crock Pot Dinner (meat included)
1.5 pounds boneless pork filet
5 pounds breaded chicken chunks
1.5 pounds meaty beef ribs
28 ounces meatloaf and gravy
1 pound beef fajitas
1 pound fully cooked meatballs
1 pound all-meat hot dogs
1 pound broccoli
1 pound peas and carrots
28 ounces pasta sauce
1 pound pasta
32 ounces Borden 2% reduced fat shelf-stable milk
32 ounces Hawaiian punch
12 count corn tortillas
7-ounce blueberry muffin mix
1 dozen eggs
1 dessert item

In addition, three specials are available this month at an additional charge. You can purchase one or more specials with the purchase of the regular box.
