Boone Moose Lodge Hosts Inaugural Poker Run Saturday

Rev up your bikes and get ready for the High Country’s newest poker run. The Moose Lodge in Boone is hosting its inaugural run on Saturday to benefit Hospice in Watauga and Avery counties. Photo by Joel Church The Moose Lodge in Boone is hosting its inaugural poker run on Saturday, August 2.

Registration starts at 9:00 a.m., and riders will leave Boone at 11:00 a.m. Entry fees are $15 for single rider and $25 for couples.

The run will begin at the Moose Lodge in Boone and continue to the Moose Lodges in Wilkesboro, Riverside and Lenoir, returning to the Boone Moose Lodge for BBQ, karaoke and music.

The poker run benefits Hospice in Watauga and Avery counties. Participants will receive a T-shirt, and a raffle ticket for door prizes.
