Linville Land Harbor Charity Golf Tournament August 15

Registration Deadline August 8

Linville Land Harbor will hold its annual charity golf tournament on Friday, August 15, benefiting Volunteer Avery County and Community Service.

Volunteer Avery County and Community Service was established to help the needy in Avery County who do not qualify for help through other programs or agencies. Last year, the Land Harbor Annual Charity Golf Tournament and other activities raised more than $10,000 for this worthwhile charity.

The format will be a Texas Scramble with 80 percent handicap. There will be a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start at Land Harbor Golf Course.

The entry fee is $75 per person. Players can enter as a foursome, or individuals will be paired by the organizers if you do not have a foursome. Both men and ladies are invited to play. Organizers prefer that you have an established handicap index at a golf club. The entry fee includes prizes, golf and dinner. The deadline for entries is Friday, August 8.

Sponsors are BB&T Bank, Land Harbor Property Owners Association, Mountain Run Properties and Mountain Top Golf Carts.
