Barn Dance in Beech Mountain August 16

Strap on your cowboy boots—or maybe something a little more comfortable—for the second annual Barn Dance in Beech Mountain on Saturday, August 16, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Head on over to Beech Mountain’s Buckeye Recreation Center for an evening of country dancing, live music and great food.

The Leftover Band will perform as caller Roy Krege will lead the crowd in line dancing and square dancing.

Dinner, served from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., includes chili, coleslaw, cornbread, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, tea and lemonade. Brown bagging is permitted.
